고가용성 네트워크 구현방법

Abstract

본 발명은 고가용성 네트워크 구현 방법에 관한 것으로서, 동일한 역할을 하는 여러 대의 서버들을 이용하여 서버 클러스터링을 할 경우 프록시 ARP 기술과 IP 알리아스 기술을 이용하여 특정 서버에서 장애가 발생하면 다른 서버에서 장애가 발행한 서버의 가상 IP 주소를 가져옴으로써 서버들의 장애 상황에 대한 유연한 대처능력과 중단 없는 서비스를 보장할 수 있는 이점이 있다.
PURPOSE: A method for implementing a high-usability network system is provided to supply effective measures for server errors and continuous services, by taking a virtual Internet Protocol(IP) address of error servers from other servers using a proxy Address Resolution Protocol(ARP) technology and an IP alias, when generating an error in a specific server, if a server clustering is operated using role-equivalent servers. CONSTITUTION: A method for implementing a high-usability network system comprises the steps of: monitoring states of other network systems in a high-usability demon processor; deciding a network system taking a virtual Internet Protocol(IP) address of an error system, if an error is detected in a specific network system; additionally setting a virtual IP address of the specific error system, to store in a network address information device; notifying a Media Access Control(MAC) address of the reset address information device to modify as a new MAC address, when the IP address requests the MAC address of the specific error system, by operating a network system as a proxy Address Resolution Protocol(ARP) mode; and restoring the virtual IP address of the error system by releasing the proxy ARP mode in an usability demon processor of a network system, when the error system is restored.
